Need advice: Sea River or Bucerias condo for family of 5?

I would agree that for a first-timer with 2 active children the Holiday Inn is the best option. I too love Bucerias and am usually there at least once a week but I still think the HI is the better option this time.

Whatever you decide, hope you have a wonderful family vacation.

Smitty - Can you recommend some good restaurants walking distance from the Holiday Inn? Also - can we walk the beach to PV (I hope to bring a backpack for the baby) or is it just better to hail a cab or catch a bus? Thanks! osheydinger

Ellen and David have very good suggestions . Most of the restaurants in the hotel zone are the same as you would find at home - KFC , Pizza Hut etc . Gigante Mall has a huge food court and everything else with a Mexican flair. We stayed at Fiesta Americana 2 trips ago and I would recommend their breakfast buffet . Le Petit France (front of Fiesta) looks a little ritzy but had many affordable deals advertised . Fiesta is a 5 minute walk from HI.

Most of the good restaurants are a $ 4 cab ride away or much cheaper by bus . Pipis is a rowdy family friendly place that your kids will love . Burro Bar is a favourite - beachfront - funny waitstaff and great shrimp . Enjoy your vacation ! :)

Great suggestions - thanks everyone! Early bird specials will work for us, as the baby has an early bedtime. My husband and I will have to trade off on who gets a quiet evening alone in the condo while the baby sleeps and who takes the other two out adventuring in the evening.
