NH Krystal Vallarta????

Has anyone stayed here? Is the food good? Heard their nightly entertainment is great?

We (a group of 5 adults) stayed there last year and we really liked it. The grounds are very nice, with palm trees and fountains and such. There is a swim up bar and the bar tenders are great. The food is fine. We did the breakfast buffet a few times, lots of fresh fruit and tons of other things too. However, I’d not do the AI, because of all the great food to eat in PV. It is an easy, and ridiculously inexpensive bus ride into town, or an even easier, and still really cheap cab ride. I think the hotel has great character, the rooms are brightly painted and there are cobblestone walkways everywhere. There are numerous pools to choose form and right on the beach.
I’m going to PV in Feb. with a friend who is a first timer and we are staying in the romantic zone to be closer to all the action and restaurants and everything. However, I would stay at the Krystal again, and it’s not too far away.

Where would this hotel be located from ther HOliday Inn?? Have been there last year? Also does the Krystal have nightly shows? Do they have a hot-tub?

The Krystal is just north of the Holiday Inn. No hot tubs!!
