Noise near marina??

We have heard the constuction of the new cruise ship dock is 24/7 and the pile driver can be heard at area hotels all night. Anyone know more out there? How far down can it be heard - Suntera, Krystal, etc??

Had some people i met here on the BB that recently stayed at the GCP and they never mentioned any noise issues or even the construction going on around the marina area. this could be interesting. I will see what i can find out from my friends at the resort and see what they say.

We´re staying at the Melia across from the Marina right now, this last week and another week to go, and there is no construction noise at all. Lots of Cruise ships each day, the schedule had only one or two each day, with none on of the days and it is obviously wrong, there were three the day there were supposed to be none at all. One had to be parked couple of hundred feet off the entrance all day. Would not have wanted to stay at the hotels really close to that area, but good part there was no noise.
