Re:Old Town hotels
Ii hghly recommend the Molino De Agua. I have stayed there 3 times, twice in the Jr. Suites. Quiet, peaceful, 2 pools, 2 bars.

can you ask for more?
Re:Old Town hotels
We like the Tropicana. Every room faces the ocean and the staff is great. Beach front hotel, close to everything.
Re:Old Town hotels
Andales is a very good place to stay, the hotel is on top. View our photos at

Go to Rooster then Andales

Re:Old Town hotels
Rooster, Did you find the Andales Hotel noisy at night and/or early mornings? I always assumed it would be from both the bar and from traffic on Olas Altas.

I ask because we rented a nice big cheap apartment above the launderia next door one trip but the noise at night was fierce and echoed along the corridor of the street.

Vallarta shores.
Re:Old Town hotels
Auntie Bill... Is Vallarta Shores one of the hotel line up on Playa Los Muertos?
Re:Old Town hotels
Susana I have never had a problem with noise there, I always get a back unit over looking the neighboring hotels pool.
