paradise village food

if staying at paradise village can you eat things like lettuce and fruit (non peeled type) at the hotel and the little mall they have without fear of getting sick? Also will we need to drink bottled water or not eat the ice while at the hotel? thanks!!

Forgot to mention, Paradise Village has their own water filtration system...no problems with water, ice, or frozen drinks, at the hotel, or at the Plaza restaurants.
