Paradise Village

Can anyone tell me about Paradise Village Resort. My wife and I are heading that way at the end of May and I heard it was absolutely gorgeous. Are there restaurants nearby and stores? Just getting a litle excited.

We have been members at Paradise Village for 5 years now, have been going to resort for 7 years. We love it. There have been some mixed reviews given on this board regarding some staff members being rude, but I have never encountered that, either before or after becoming a member. Sometimes I think \"matter of factness\" is construed as rudeness to some, but at anyrate, the resort is very nice, great well manicured beach and two nice pools. There are a couple of restaurants on site that have either ala carte meals or theme nights, there is also a bar and grill on the beach that has good hamburgers and snacks. There is an Italian restaurant by the marina called Il Pescatore that has good freshly made pasta and is nice, as well as several restaurants in the Mall down the street. The Jungle and IL Pescatore restaurants are owned by Paradise Village and meals can be charged to room. They have Happy Hour at the Bar in the Lobby from 5 to 7 I think...2 for 1 drinks..or as they say 1 for 2...Go to Sunday Brunch at the Golf Course. Let me know if you have any further questions.
