Been to Paradise Village twice, and we have enjoyed each trip. I would say that it is a very kid friendly place, great beaches and pools. The area has really grown since we were there last, and I believe that there is now a water park and other family attractions out in that area.
Keep in mind that you are north of P.V. proper, but still can get into town when you want without much problem. There were plenty of helpful staff that will give you tips on places to go and see. We met a great guy named Hector who not only had our beverage orders memorized, but he also hooked us up with some great tours through some people he knew.
Enjoy, you will have a great time.
