place to stay for last night in PV

Started April 12, 2006 · 10,313 views · 7 posts
We have a week at the Westin Club Regina, then hope to spend 4 nights in outlying towns. I am looking for suggestions on where to spend the last night in PV before returning home. We would probably like to be on the beach or at least see the ocean from where where we stay. We will need something pretty reasonably priced since by then we will have spent all our money!!!!! Something clean and nice, though! Appreciate any suggestions!

Questions
Questions unanswered:

When are you going?

What is your budget?

What are required amenities?

Is seeing the beach your only absolute must?

All of the above factor into what I might recommend.
Thanks, Palapa_gal, I will check those out.

Jennybean, June 21 will be our last night. Under $70(is that realistic?). Close to reasonably priced restaurants. Clean and kind of nice! Queen size bed. Easy to catch a taxi to airport. Yeah, I would really like to be on the beach!

You mention possibly staying outside of PV. You might consider Bucerias. It is only a 15-20 minute taxi ride to the airport. Rates shoud be low during that time of year.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!!! Now I have to do some checking. Guess I could really skip the beach as long as I have a full view of the ocean!!

(http://www.hotelemperadorpv.com) is the web address for the hotel mentioned directly above.

clarification- El Pescador and Hotel Rosita are not on the southside, but in the hotel zone just to the north of the Malecon/El Centro.

(http://www.hoteleloisa.com) is the website of hotel for one I mentioned

Tropicana or Playa Los Arcos are both on Playa Los Muertos beach, with at least some rooms having ocean views.
