Playa de Oro vs. Las Palmas

This is in regards to my post on Your Help is Needed!! How do the Playa de Oro and Las Palmas properties compare? As far as I can tell they are somewhat similar? If a person was switched from the Las Palmas to Playa de Oro would you consider that to be about equal properties. Which would you prefer if you had a choice?

We have stayed at Playa de Oro for many years as we have a timeshare there. Our whole family likes it. It is home to us. I have not stayed at other resorts in PV so I have nothing to compare it to but they have never let us down. Beach is great. Food is average.
