playa del sol grande????????

has any one stayed at this new resort. we have a week booked for may and would li ke to get some info. things we would like to know are: has any one stayed in the two bedroom units, and how far is it from paradise villiage, any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

We will be travelling to Playa del sol Grande in march and are looking for info too. The only info I have seen other then the web site for the resort is from another bulliten board that had only one reply. It said good and some bad. First the bad. The pool was cold, the food pricey, no happy hour deals, the kitchen in the condo was poorly equipped, and it was not very sound proof. There is supposidly a monster resort going up next door that had construction noise every day, also no laundry facilty on site. Now the good. The beach was quite and beautiful, because it is so far out from the main traffic flow, no vendors. The staff were very polite and helpful. It is listed as being in Nuevo but the letterhead says it is actually in Bucerais. Sounds like it may be having some growing pains as it is getting up and running. From what I have researched if you are looking for the party life and and lots of action you will have to go looking for it if you stay here. I guess it will all be in what you are looking for if you will be happy here ot not. Hope we get some more replies as I would like to know what we are in for when we get down there. If anyone has the name of the resort going up next to Playa gel sol Grande that would be appreciated too.

Did you just stay at Paradise Village in Dec? We were looking at going there but have since changed our minds. Boy it sounds like that was a good idea from the posts I read recently. Anyways hope Playa del Sol Grande works better for you, it looks stunning from the look of there web site. Nice and quite, pure relaxation. Have fun!

yes we did stay at paradise village but in november rather than december. what recent post did you read regarding paradise, and what was negative about it?

Please send us a message when you get back from Playadelsol grande...we are interested in your input. Is the service good; are the restaurants past their opening bugs, how far is it to Paradise Village; what are the rooms like,etc.
