Playa Los Arcos

Has anyone stayed here, what types of rooms/suites do they have? I am not sure if I spelled the name correctly, but I think that this hotel is downtown, not on the beach but only a block off. Does anyone have any comments on the hotel, good or bad? Am looking at this property as a potential one for our trip in Feb. 06

Re:Playa Los Arcos
Playa Los Arcos is a beach front property on the south side. The Playa has two sister hotels, Los Arcos Vallarta and Los Arcos Suites, which are near but not on the beach.

I have not personally staid in any of them, but have walked by many times, and the location cannot be beat in my book.

Is it worth it to go AI?
Re:Playa Los Arcos
Me and my family stayed at the sister hotel Los Arcos Suites. Just around the corner from famous bar Andels which is great for us so called older folks 30 plus. The people are very friendly and it is very clean. Three rooms on main floor have patio doors that open onto small pool area. You have full access to Los Arcos Hotel beach and faciliites. You pay a little less not being on the beach. I have been to PV 5 Times and would love to stay here again. Highly recommended. Would also recommend the El Pescador or Rosita. At the end of the Malecon but a little more quiet. Depends what you are looking for.

Hi! Play los Arcos IS on the beach, its sister hotel,Los Arcos is a block up! This hotel is Mexican Colonial and we LOVED it !! you must realize that this is a sub tropical climate and the ac has a slight moldy smell, but the rooms are CLEAN and the staff is GREAT!! we are going back in may and are booking there again, the value is the best you will find and its in the Romantic Zone! The best place to stay in PV,lots of nightlife and right next to the Malecon.(Boardwalk) Everyone that goes to PV ends up here and that can be quite a distance if you stay in other parts of PV.
