PLAZA PELICANOS

Somebody must have some info on this resort-------Please and thank you

I stayed there from dec 27 to jan 1 . Great food, great rooms, but freezing pool water, the beach? very rocky.If you wanna be in a good beach go somewhere else.

We have been to this resort for the past 6 years. We have a timeshare there. I was there last April and the updates they have made were nice. I particularly like it because it is clean and the staff are friendly, there are plenty of activities if you are in to that, and the food is decent. They also keep the pool and entire pool area clean. I agree that since Kenna the beach has pretty much disappeared compared to what it used to be, but I still swam last year, and we did some fishing off the rocks and caught some interesting fish. I would highly recommend Plaza Pelicanos.

We have a week reserved at the Plaza Pelicanos in April 2004. I have been reading many mixed reviews of the resort on the internet - a few good, many just okay and unfortunately, a lot negative comments. We are going regardless as we got such a great deal and have reasonable expectations of the place.

We have been to PV many times, staying mainly at the Westin and at Mimaloya; this will be our first visit to a truly \"all inclusive\" resort in Puerto Vallarta. I appreciate those of you who vacationed there last year, however, what is this place like NOW? Am I to understand, the Plaza Pelicanos no longer has a beach? Any input would be much appreciated
