Plaza Pelicanos

Help,
We have been to PV many times b4. This time I am trying to go fairly cheap. There is a great deal from Calgary Alberta Canada leaving on Dec 31/05 for 2 weeks. My dilema is, do I pay more and go somewhere else or do I stay here. My husband is a smoker and I would really like to have a room with a balcony. My understanding is the Pelicanos rooms for the most part do not have balconies. Can anyone help me out here? Is it only the ocean view rooms that have balconies.
I would appreciate any feed back you might have.

Thanks so much for your feedback. I am going to book today. We will be there from Dec 31-Jan 14. When will you be there? We talso go out alot from the hotel. We have some favorite restaurants we like to go to when we are there.

Have to agree with BBlakes desciption of the resort. Well told.

We did have a balcony last year. It faced the hotel next door. But it was nice to have a place to hang wet towels and bathing suits to dry.

We are booked to return in January again. We will be there from Jan 7-21.

Lovely wife and I will be there Dec 8-17......hoping it is a nice as it looks...it`s an affiliate of one of my timeshare companies....We don`t AI as we usually don`t sit still long enough!! Exploring and finding the elusive spots with the 10 peso beer.....

does anyone know what type of beer they serve? :D Is it draft or bottled? Do they serve nachos and salsa at the snack bar? What time does the bar close at? Thanks everyone. :)

we will be there jan 21-28th. we are meeting friends from ont there and we are all in out late twenties to mid thirties.

There will be 4 of us leaving on Jan 15th and staying PP for two weeks. Look us up.
