Premiere Suites

My travel agent is telling me that the Premiere Suites (Avenida de Mexico, next to the Buenaventura)will not be open for business the last week of December or the first week of January. Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of that or an opinion?

Hum.........my travel agent claims the Premiere will re-open December 15. So I am not sure who to trust. I have tried calling the Hotel directly but no answer. Anyone have any thoughts who live there? I heard there was only minimal damage to the pool, but other than that the place is fine?? Who knows.....

This website shows all the hotel updates and it still shows it opeing December 2/02. We are going Saturday and I can check if it is open and update unless a local sees this message and can give you info before then.

I heard Dec. 15 from several different sources in PV today.

If you go....please report back. Very curious to hear the real scoop.
