Mrs.Smith first off must welcome you to the board and admire your surname. \"Chuck\" is in a bit of an identity struggle at the moment so forgive his questioning of your name :). By all accounts your resort is fantastic, check out www.tripadvisor.com for more info. Why do we love Vallarta- the reasons are often unexplainable but yet enough to keep us coming back year after year. Read the postings on this site and you will get a feel for what we already realize- PV is our sanctuary/paradise/happy place.

Mrs. Smith, welcome to our PV bulletin board. A few years ago my husband and I took a Caribbean cruise and an extra week was offered at a resort in the DR for $199 Cdn. It seemed like a no brainer to us so we took it. I have to tell you that after so many years of PV I felt like I was trapped on this resort. We were advised not to go out too much, not to rent a car, not to take a bus, etc. etc. The resort was beautiful, the food was great, but never again! Puerto Vallarta is just something that has to be felt in person to understand and soon you will do that for yourself. The Presidente-Intercontinental seems to get good reviews. We never stayed there and now we own our own little condo so never will!
