pricing for three weeks in feb at buenaventura

would 6500 can be too much for the buenaventura for three weeks,coming from edmonton with girlfriend,flight included,european plan? feb4-26

That sounds like a horrible deal - even if it was all inclusive - you should check for better deals. You can do much better for a lot less $ .

I went to the Signature Vacations site but could not find much for Edmonton. However, here is an example for Calgary:
depart 2006/03/18
stay for 2 weeks
meal plan is EP
Total cost including taxes is $4004
Discount travel agencies will sell this for less.
So, $6500 is far too much.

Those prices are very high, although as Jennybean said availability is going to be your biggest challenge. Booking this late may indeed cost you considerably more than it normally would but not as much as you have been quoted. If you shop around and are a little creative, you can do better than that...sonofdob

Dave Seems high to me. Try Red Tad Vacation; they were $200+ less then most travel agents . I obtained quotes from Red Tag and then went to Flight Centre who amtched the price
