PV Hotels and kids

We are traveling to PV next month and are still looking for hotels. All we have found so far state a max of 4 persons per room. There are five of us, wife and myself and kids 7,5, and 2. I am going to book a hotel soon but am a little concerned that we will be denied with the 2Y.O. in tow. Has anyone had any experience with this kind of issue? I know here in the States it would be no problem but am unsure about Mexico.

Thanks,

Matt

Family Vacation
The Melia Puerto Vallarta offers a family of five room . Two doubles and a bunk bed. Kids clubs are included in your package . Mom and Dad can have some quality time alone. :)

Just as a point of interest when we were in PV in Oct/Nov we visited the R.I.S.E. orphanage . Melia resort had treated the children from R.I.S.E. with a day of fun at the resort. Testimonial from the kids convinced me that Melia would be an excellent spot for children (and the adults) .

Good luck with your vacation plans. :)
Another thought is the Crown Paradise Club resort... excellent kids activities, newly remodeled rooms, new adult only hot tub style swim up pool bar, a nice beac area close to downtown and activites... drop me a line at my regular e-mail address and i will forward you a power point presentation on the resort as well as some of the contacts in the sales and promotions departments to check on space and availability as well as your concerns with a family of five.

Los Tules offers townhouses for rent. Depending on availability, there are units with one small (maids) room suitable for one child as well as two bedrooms. They also have pull out beds in the livingroom so a 2BR unit will sleep 6.
