Qualton vs Canto del sol (formerly Continental)

Wich one is the best for food and quality of rooms?

Hi: We stayed at the Qualton Feb/04 It is a beautiful hotel. Room are clean and all have a view of the ocean. The buffet meals are excellent. The breakfast buffet is very busy around 9 am and sometimes you are sent up to the roof, with not as much variety. The a la carte restaurants are not what they seem. We stuck to the Buffet. The beach is quite small as there are quite a few hotels in the area and they all have their areas marked off, but you are not restricted, you can walk anywhere on the beach. It is within walking distance to downtown , a great location. If you want any more info feel free to email me.

We stayed at Canto del Sol in 2004 and Qualton in 2005. Canto has better food. Qualton has better room because of balcony and view. We preferred Canto del sol.
