Question about Mayan Palace - Marina Vallarta (PV)

Hello there,

I will be staying at the Mayan Palace resort in Marina Vallarta in March for spring break (RCI exchange), and I have some questions. I noticed that they do not assign rooms until check-in. Does anyone know about the different hotel buildings within the Mayan Palace Marina Vallarta? From the mayan resorts website it looks like there are three buildings, is that correct?, are some better than others? Someone in the forum talked about saying no to the sea pavillion, what does that mean? Thanks so much for your help.

There is the Mayan Palace ,,,Grand Mayan ,,and the Sea Garden in the Nuevo Vallarta Marina complex ,,Its My belief that the Sea Garden is the oldest of the buildings ,,has no deck to speak of and the rooms are not quite as nice as the Grand and Palace ,,The Grand has the pools and lazy river ,,but You can use it while staying at any building
