Questions about Grand Velas resort?

Hi all! We are about to make our first trip to PV and are very excited. I have just a couple of questions, any info is appreciated. We are staying at the Grand Velas. On their web site it mentions that 2 of their restaurants are \"resort casual dress (no shorts or sandals)\". So, for men, no shorts or sandals is easy, but do shirts have to have collars? And for women, do they allow you to wear sandals with slacks or a skirt? How strict are they with this dress code?

And if we decide to leave the resort for dinner, are there any nice restaurants close by? And do they have taxi vans that could take about 10 people to a restaurant?

Well there is some great news for you , the dress code for the ladies is that what ever you fell best wearing. In the two 5 * ( freda and Lucca) men should wear a collared shirt. try to dine out on the balcony if you can great place to catch the sunsets...

There is a greta place called brazils just off the poroperty and the hotel can arrange ofr a van to get any number party to it.

the suites are fantastic and you should try breakfast in your room at least once..
