Susana telling it the way she sees it is not sugar coating. Everybody sees something different. She might be far more realistic in her expectations. Can not argue with you if you were not happy but that does not mean someone else would not be satisfied with what they got.

I feel symathetic toward the hotel owners. They had no choice when Senor Frog built there. Their prices are very reasonable, but you would fare better to deal with them with someone who speaks spanish. There was probably a problem with translation for the former poster. They really are a nice family and had a portion of their business suffer through no fault of their own. The prices are great and if you choose a room away from the back wall adjacent to Frogs, you should have a very enjoyable stay.

Ear plugs also can come in handy as a variety of hotels in PV suffer from traffic or nightlife noise.
