WILL BE TRAVELING TO NUEVO VALLARTA IN JUNE. ANY INFO ABOUT RIU HOTEL WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.UNABLE TO FIND OUT ABOUT PROPERTY. USUALLY STAY IN HOTEL ZONE. ANY INFO CONCERNING NUEVO VALLARTA WOULD BE GREAT!!

Hola....they are supposed to be open mid-May. It is in Nuevo Vallarta, north end, so travel time is about 20 to 30 min or so by taxi and longer by bus - of course depends on the traffic.

As I posted above, Riu opens the 18th. Soon-to-be-hubby came home last night - finished out there after 2 months of non-stop work. Be sure and check out all of the detailed paintings, borders, murals etc. Lots of missed-time-at-home, back and neck-breaking work, all-nighters, etc. It turned out beautiful. So to answer your question, yes! Opens this week!
