Riu Jalisco....?

Has anyone stayed at the Riu Jalisco in Puerto Vallarta? Wondering what to expect. We stayed at the Riu Palace in Playa del Carmen and thought it was outstanding. Any informaiton on the Riu Jalisco would be appreciated.

I have not stayed there myself but heard good reviews. Do realize that it is way out in Nuevo Vallarta, a good 1/2 hour+ drive from downtown PV. Depends what you are looking for in your resort/vacation, but it would be too far out (to my taste) if you like to go shopping, have dinner at the great restaurants, be walking distance from activities, etc. in scenic and central downtown - El Centro and Old Town areas.
