Rosita Hotel

we stayed there in october and this was our second time in the past 4 years. the other 2 times we stayed at playa los arcos. rosita was doing quite a bit of remodeling this past trip. the rooms are clean and great for the budget traveler. the grounds are also nice with a friendly staff. another plus would be that it is at the begining of the malecon so you could not ask for a better location. we, like you, only use it to sleep at so it has worked well for us in the past. the negatives would be that the beds are quite hard...all the more reason to have a few drinks before returning to your room. additionally many of the rooms face the street, which can get loud late into the night. i have read reviews that said to take ear plugs...we have never done this as the ac tends to drown out much of it, plus we are always so tired that we go right to sleep anyway. basically this is not a big , flashy place, but a good introductory place for the money. if you have any more questions, let me know. enjoy :D

Great place for the $$....have stayed there several times because of the great location and friendly staff. You will not get the RITZ but what do you expect when you travel to another country...it is clean, safe and reasonable. :D
Stayed there on my first visit to PV, very clean but get a room away from the street. Great sunsets from any of the rooms facing the ocean. Old world charm, many Mexicans were staying there when i was there. Probably a lil late for my comments but hope it helped
