We are hopefully returning to PV this winter. Can anyone rate the Royal Decameron for me and especially tell me how long on the bus to downtown?

We are hopefully returning to PV this winter. Can anyone rate the Royal Decameron for me and especially tell me how long on the bus to downtown?Hi my wife and I stayed at the RDC in Sept, it was our first time in PV. We had a fantastic time, and planning on taking our kids next year.
You can catch the bus, at the top of the street leading into the resort. It takes about 15min, to get to the Walmart parking lot, depending on traffic. Then we caught the EL Centro bus, 5-10 minutes, to get to the Malecon.
We always took a taxi back to the RDC, as our tour company rep, said it was tricky, to get back by bus. Never did find out why, or how.
Two dollars, by bus in, 16-18 dollars by taxi back.
THe bus ride is very entertaining though, hang on for dear life

It is closer than the Royal Decameron in Nuevo Vallarta and much nicer. I have not stayed at the Royal Decameron but walked by many times. The Royal Decameron is real close to Buscerias so you can go to other bars and restaurants if you get bored.
I have heard good things about the Rio Jalisco from several people.
I have stayed at the De Cameron. It seems to be a very popular Resort.
The Beach area is nice in that area. One can take long quiet walks.
The ride into PV from the De Cameron is not so long and quite cheap really. I enjoyed looking at the scenery on the rides in to PV. Thick dark green vegetation. The mountains in the background.
The Resort RD is large and there are activites for children teens young adults and adults all day and most of the night.
If you are looking to be entertained and if you want lots of Camp like activities to do you will find it at the De Cameron.
Food is very good and there is a large variety. Rooms are clean and quite nice.
The grounds are beautiful.
Bucerious has the best of both that Mexico has to offer.
One sees lovely new homes in area and because we are in the trades I spent a lot of time poking around new construction sites watching and asking how building was done in Mexico. Most trades people were willing to share their thoughts and knowledge with us.
I also saw the poor in Bucerious. Ordinary people trying to make a living.
People going about their daily business . A lot of the people living in Bucerious work in the Resorts that are on the New strip. One young man told me that those that work in the Resorts are considered to be quite important in their community.
There are little Restaurants all over Bucerious. Some very nice others are just a wood building with a few patio chairs and tables.
I am sure You will have a wonderful vacation .
If you stay out of town go to the city. If you stay in the city go out of town.
