royal decameron resort

Does anyone know how badly the Royal Decameron resort was hit by the Hirrican? We had hoped to be there around the 19th of November.

Apparently there is no structural damage (according to our tour opperator)...we arrive at the RD on 3rd November...

I spoke to a tour operator today, she reports that the pools along the beach are out of commission right now, as are the rooms, due to water. They have moved all the current guest to the back building across the road. They expect to have it all cleaned up by mid week, and in plenty of time for my arrival on 02 Nov.

What is the link to the other boards with hurricane information and pictures? We heard all kinds of destruction stories, ie, the beaches are washed away, downtown is rubbles, etc. Thanks for whatever you have. We are staying at the Sierra Nuevo over Thanksgiving.

My husband and I will also be arriving at the Royal Decameron Complex on November 19th!
We are going to celebrate my big 40!!!
