Sheraton Buganvilias

The latest news is very disturbing... The website now says the reopening date is uncertain due to receiving equipment. This date has continued to slide since December?? IS this just a ploy to continue to generate revenue with no intention of reopening?? I have sent emails with no replies. Anyone out there have any news?? I am getting pissed!!!!

I was there a couple of weeks ago, and the place is still in shambles. Not sure when they are supposed to re-open, but my guess it will be awhile.

I am a timeshare owner at the Sheraton and upset about the re-opening date also.
I am still making my monthly payments and have paid my maintenance fee for the year and cant even use it. There must be other time share owners out there with the same problem, what are we suppose to do???? Does anybody know?? Its easy for people to say stay at another hotel, but when you are paying for one already, its hard to have to pay for another one.Anybody got any ideas???

Had friends who were at Sheraton and they finally let them trade? or rebook or something and they stayed at Fiesta Americana. Is this a possibility for you, Sheraton has their own website out there, can you contact someone and insist on being able to use your weeks you have paid for, if even somewhere else without paying more? Report I heard was the structure damage is pretty bad and they may not be able to correct. Something about the base of the whole structure.Good luck.

I wouldnt count on it opening any time this year. still a mess around there. Lots of work still to be done. they should at least be honest with the timeshare members though...
