Does any one know how theSheraton Bungavillas are after the Hurricane??? We are going there from Minnesota on Dec 7--14?? Sounds like the Malecon is hurt pretty bad??/ Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Sheraton will not be open til January 5, and I think that is pushing it. The Malecon is in better shape than it was a week ago, and the shops and restaurants are open...You better start looking for new digs....

Why not consider staying elsewhere than the \"Hotel Zone\", where the Sheraton is located, and where the worst hurricane damage was suffered.
Things fared much better almost everywhere else... the lovely neighborhood south side of the river beyond downtown, The Marina, or Nuevo Vallarta. Also Mismalloya and Camino Real down the highway south of town are fine too.
