We are owners at the Sheraton Buganvillas. Since Hurricane Kenna in Oct. 2002 it still has not re-opened. We were in PV in Feb. 2003 and it was in shambles. I have been trying to contact the Sheraton to get any information about its status for re-opening but have become very frustrated with no response and no one answering or returning phone calls.
I did get an email today that they are expanding ballrooms and restaurants (?). They should be more concerned about the first and second floors of the time share building that looked like it was gutted!! Also the front entrance and lobby looked like it was in pieces. All the furniture was in the parking lot. They did say they are expected to open January 2004 but we have a hard time believing that.
Has anyone been by the Sheraton recently? I would love an update on its condition from someone who has really seen it and will be honest.
We are looking for hotels and/or condos in the downtown area, thanks to recommendations from many of you. Any news on the Sheraton? Thanks.
