Try the Solare Vallarty Sunset Bay. My wife and I have stayed here twice and loved it both times. It is smaller with only 180 room. It is about a 4 star resort at the northern most edge of Nuevo Vallarta. You can walk or bike to Bucerias and it is a short bus or cab ride to town. The people at the resort are very friendly and work hard to keep you happy. The beach here is as nice as you will find in the Nuevo Vallarta area and is well kept. You would enjoy this resort very much.
