Staying at the Riu Jalisco need information

My wife and I have stayed next door at the Solare on two occasions. You are about 40 minutes from downtown PV by bus. You can take a taxi, they will have the prices at the lobby of your hotel. The cheapest way to get into town is by bus, which costs about $1 per person each way and is a lot of fun. It stops right at your hotel. The hotel is on a very nice stretch of beach, the sand and water are clean and you can walk for several miles in either direction. You are north of PV. I would also recommend going a little bit further north into the town of Bucerias. You can walk up the beach in about one hour, or bike in about 10 minutes. It has a great open market and numerous very good restaurants, as well as banks, and internet cafes. The resort looks very nice, it is quite large and I have read good reviews about it. There are usually some local vendors right on the beach outside the resort that you can barter with for goods. You can also go to the Paradise Village Mall, which is about 20 minutes away to the south by bike. I hope that this answers some of your questions. You will have a great time here I am sure. Enjoy the hotel and the beach and relax while you are there.

thank you for the info you have given us a lot of insite with others opinions. we are new to bulitin boards so please bear with us. please do not ban us if we make mistakes. or if we post in the wrong area. We are just looking for other people to hang out with we are not swingers or anything like that lifestyle. However it has always been more fun for us as travlers (3 countries and 26 states in 2 years) to find other people to go on tours with and also in town. We have met many friends traveling and still keep in contact with them.

My wife and I found that you will generally find a few people/couples that you will hang around with while you are there. PV has many repeat travellers, so somebody will be able to give you info/show you where to go for a good time. If you are planning to go to Bucerias, ask somebody how to get there if you are planning to ride the resort bikes, as you have to go through a door in the wall and then ride along a path to Bucerias. This is much shorter and safer than the highway. Have fun!
