Does anyone have any pictures of the Sun Getaway Hotel that they can post here. I would like to see what the hotel looks like since the hurricane hit in October time.
Is the pool bar open with service and does the hotel have a swim up bar? Is there a shop in the hotel or near to the hotel where you can buy bottled water to keep in your room. What is the cost of a taxi in US dollars from the hotel to the Malecon? Have seen some negative posts regarding the staff who work behind the front desk in the hotel. Could anyone elaborate? How is their ability to speak English? Will they exchange American Express travellers cheques for you at the front desk and if so do they give you pesos or american cash. Which rooms are best if you are staying in a superior room (lower building). Do these rooms look out over the pool? Are they noisy or quiet. Does anyone have any recommendations on the restaurants at hotel where you have to have reservations? I believe they have a steakhouse. Do they still offer the continental breakfast to your room and what is it like. Do you have to order this the night before? What is the charge for the in-room safes. What type of nightly activities do they have at the hotel? Do they have theme nights? Does anyone know the cost of making a long-distance telephone call from the room. I know it is very expensive and some hotels charge a fee plus so much per minute but wanted to know for convenience sake. How much is it to make a local call from your room.
