Does anyone have any accurate information as to the opening date of Sun Getaway
(formerly Blue Bay Getaway) beside the Sheraton. This board states it is opening
Dec 6th. Have heard other dates and do not know how accurate the date of
Dec 6th is. My tour operator is saying it will not be open until Feb 1st. Puerto
Vallarta reservations says mid January and yet another reservations agency says
Feb 1st. I find it hard to believe with the extensive damage that it will open Dec
6th. On another board someone mentioned they were told March 1st. I do not want
to book and find out a month or few weeks before that I have to stay at another
hotel. I want to stay at an all-inclusive adults only resort and do not want to stay
at their sister resort Sun Resort (formerly Blue Bay Club) as I here this is more for
couples and I will be travelling as a single. I like the location of Blue Bay Getaway and do not want to stay in the marina or Nuevo areas. Have phoned the hotel and did not get an answer several times.
Does anyone have their e-mail addresss. With the discrepancy in dates provided to the various agencies/websites that represent this hotel I am concerned that management may decide to demolish (start over) rebuilding and it could take longer?? Maybe management itself does not know the date?
