The Riu Jalisco

Started May 4, 2002 · 2,387 views · 3 posts
My first visit to Puerto Vallarta was Dec 14,2001 and I loved it! My Fiancee proposed on Dec 15th there and we decided to get married this Dec 14th, 2002 in Puerto Vallarta. We had stayed at the Camino Real which is a very, very nice hotel but decided to stay at the Riu Jalisco since it is an all inclusive.
Does anyone have any information on this hotel? It opened up this month.

Re:The Riu Jalisco
So many questions on this resort!!! Will try to answer the best I can .... my \"novio\" is doing the painting and murals out there. They are scheduled to finish on May 13 with the opening May 15. Staff is complete (will be giving them all first aid courses next week so you can feel safe...) The place is absolutely huge and looks like a giant castle. 700 rooms right now with the second phase to begin ?? with 800 more rooms! Beautiful beach area. After I am there next week will try and make some type of report of what I have seen inside. They are working 24-7 to finish, I know that for sure!
Re:The Riu Jalisco
There is a website about this new hotel. The site is:
www.riu.com On the right hand side of the webpage is a link for the Riu Jalisco. Click on that. Follow the link for \"more hotel info\". This will bring you to another page. Right above the picture of the hotel is a link to download a PDF file that has a lot of information concerning the make up of the hotel, services, restaurants etc.... It looks like quite the place!
