Things I saw at the Riu Jalisco..

Hola! So many questions on the Riu - sure not an expert but here is what I saw! Swim-up bar-pool, childrens pool and water area, two restaurants, one pizzaria, huge theater, disco, gigantic beach area, large garden areas, fountains, lobby bar. It looks as if not all of the rooms have an ocean view but each room has a terrace. Hope this helps some!

Is the Riu fully completed? How was the service, food and drinks? I am planning my first trip to PT in June and am having some difficulty choosing a hotel. Not sure if I should go all inclusive or not. Not much info/pictures on the web concerning the Riu in PT. We are also thinking seriously about staying at the Marriott, although not all inclusive. Can you or anyone else share their thoughts?

Hi, cannot comment on service, food as I live in PV and have been to the Riu on business and also my novio did the artwork. Sure looks beautiful though!

We are thinking of going to the Riu the 1st week of July. Do you think they would have most of the bugs worked out by then (w/it being so new)?

Considering its still not opened...I personally would not go till at least mid July.
