Re:timeshare hawkers
You cant avoid them they are everywhere, the airport is especially bad they have there own room you must pass through to get out of the airport. They are in restaurants , supermarkets and all over the beaches and in downtown. What to say ...wel Mogens likes to keeep this board clean so I will refrain from being a potty mouth but it varies waht to say from a simple and polite No Gracias to the more creative I already own one hoe about I sell it to you .Whtaever you say be firm and keep moving otherwise you can waste a lot of vacation time with these people. On the flip side most of the Timesharks are decent hardworking people just trying to make money for their families so my rule of thumb is if a timeshark is professional and doesnt lie to me I am polite but firm and No Thanks! If they lie in the first 5 seconds ( eg this is not a timeshare it is a free gift ) then the gloves are off and I ususally use the I already onw one how bout I sell it to you line. Anyways not a huge deal once you know they are there, at the airport after the red / green light customs inspection bear left through the timeshare room and look for your tour rep or cabs .
