We understand you completely! Our friends own at the Sheraton and the four of us have been staying there the last 12 years. He has been trying to find our ANY information about the condition, re-opening....anything. He gets no response from the Sheraton. Have you heard from them?? There has got to be some way to get through and get information. We are supposed to go again the first two weeks in February. I will try to get him on this site to chat with you. What a mess.

If you decide to take legal action in Mexico, you should locate a good Mexican lawyer with winning experience in these types of matters and who has a reputation for being \"tough\". This seems like an obvious suggestion; but if you get an inexperienced lawyer, the defendants could secretly payoff the judge and your case could mysteriously fade away on some kind of silly technicality. I am not suggesting that all Mexican judges are crooked, just that a good lawyer would know how the game is played and how some dishonest people try to cheat the system.

Sounds like the timeshare owners at Bahai, Sheraton, and Marina de Oro would collectively might comprise a small army. Ultimately PV will suffer because too many American and Canadian timeshare owners are being taken to the cleaners. American and Canadian travel agents need to start issuing warnings to first-time PV vacationers to be aware of the risks of buying timeshares in Mexico.
