Tropicana Hotel

Just a tip... If your hairdryer is three prong, bring a two prong to three prong converter as most plugs in PV are still the old type two prong, ungrounded, so i even if your plug is a two prong, it may not fit if it is grounded, ie one prong wider than the other! I always pack one in my toiletry bag just in case. My dad \"altered\" a two prong to three prong bought at a local hardware store for me.

Last time we stayed at the Tropicana, there were no hairdryers in the room, and I needed the converter for my curling iron.

Enjoy your stay !!! Hope you love the tropicana as much as we did last year!!!
Hi Wills...

What boutique hotel did you book and when? We are from VI as well... and just love heading to PV a few times a year to escape the grey days.
Tropicana Security
We have stayed at the Tropicana every year for the past 10 years or so. Never, never have we seen any problems. The service is good, the staff are friendly nice people. They have safety boxes at the lobby for valuables. The drinks are good, too.

I realize that everybody has a different level of concern for safety when traveling, but in my opinion, the Tropicana is as safe as any we have stayed in PV.

Sherry, a gentleman by the name of Mikey who used to post here but sadly has since passed on used to stay at the Tropicanna and loved it there. I do not recall him ever mentioning a problem.
If you have anything of value etc. you can leave it with me at the condo if you want to.
