Update on Los Tules

Looking for any updated info on Los Tules. We will be going there in Feb. 03 and staying by the Restaurant and pool area. Any info on the first floor condos, pool, or Beach in that area would be greatly appricated.

Anyone with news on Los Tules please.
We are going to our time share on Jan 18th for 2 weeks.

you will still have a wonderful time. this would be an all day deal but if your beach is not open, take a bus out to Punta D Mita?? spelled way wrong, sorry. They have wonderful public beaches with clear clear water you can wade way out before it gets deep, lots of restaurants on the beach. It makes for a great day away from all the hubbub of a city.
Plenty of other places to go.

Ouch Los Tules was hit hard we stayed down the beach Dec 7-14 they were working on repairs but it looks bad, The beach front units were cleaned out as high up as the second floor parts of the grounds were gone as well as the beach, I think there was a pool missing but it was hard to tell the damage was extensive, to bad it looks like a nice place.

We just returned from PV: We stayed on the bottom floor at Los Tules by the walkway that leads to the Cafe from the main entrance. Our condo was nice and the condos on the bottom floor next to ours will be ready very soon. They were finishing up the touch up on the interior painting. Four men were walking around with clipboards and giving directions ( it appeared to be a final inspection). The Cafe is nice and as always the food and the service were outstanding. The pool by the Cafe is open as are most of the other pools. The sidewalks and the sod around the pool areas are almost finished. Los Tules is a nice place and will get better every day. They still have the most friendly staff in all of pv.

I would appreciate any current photos of Los Tules or any of the beach area or town since we are planning a trip there in March.

In regards to the beach at Los Tules, we were told that they were told they were going to let nature take its course for about 6 months to see how the beaches reform and then they would decide whether to dredge the bay and pump sand back onto the beach or not. So the beach should be restored by next winter. And there is beach at the far end of the complex and at the Fiesta.
