Upgrades at Gold Crown Paradise

debsum - it is my understanding that the resort has been running at capacity all season long. You might have to take your chances when you arrive to the resort to see what is available and what is not. they may have some last minute cancellations upon your arrival (maybe somebody that was suppose to come down on your plane cancelled out, etc.) and you could have an opportunity to move up. I know, the pictures i posted about the honeymoon suite as caused a lot of stir because now everybody wants that room, some want to be upgraded to it, and others are willing to fork out more for that room. That is why Lorrie and I are willing to spend it up front to guarantee our room (Rm 1703).

good luck... that is all i can say.... 8)

debsum,

The honeymoon suite will run about an extra $100 per night and the Jr. Suites are about $70. I think that is their rates.

You can wait and see if they have one of these available when you arrive, or just email the PR manager (not sure who it is now) and they can help you get it reserved.

The Jr. Suites either have a spa tub on the balcony, or just inside the room. The balcony ones are on the south end of the ocean side and the indoor ones are on the North end.
