Velas or Krystal

Has anyone stayed at both of these resorts? We are going for two weeks, and can stay at a one br 2bth lockout at the Krystal (Ocean View) for $469/week, or a 2 bedroom condo (Ocean View) for $700/week. Would it be worth the extra money to stay at Velas one of the weeks?

Yes, the confirmed reservation says it has an ocean view. I suppose they could make a mistake, but anyway, what do you think? Is $67/night a good enough price to stay there the whole time?

It was per night!!..we are actually bringing 5 of us (three kids).

That is really a great rate for their one bedroom. How did you get it? Through a travel agent or someone who has a time share there? Is it their one bedroom, or the studio? My friends have a 2 bedroom timeshare there and the accomodations are very nice. The grounds are beautiful. Also, there is a Sams just up the street, which might be a big asset with your \"crew.\" Do be sure, tho , to get into town - go all the way into old town. You can catch the bus right in front of the Hacienda Hotel . It is very convenient.
