We have owned a timeshare at the Velas for 4 years now. the place is beautiful. We go in late Oct. each year and there are not too many youngsters. There seems to be activities by the Ocean pool everyday. We stay mostly at the other large pool. There is not a great deall goes on there at night. The Lobby bar is usually fairly quiet. The 2 restaurants there, the Ribiera on the Beach and Andreas are good. You will be only minutes away from the marina Center and there are loads of places there to eat and drink.
