I have reservations at Velas Vallarta for my family which includes 2 small children over New Years. Does anyone know the condition of the hotel or have any tips regarding young children at the resort. Thank you.

We were at Velas Vallarta 2nd week in Nov.
They had small amount of damage to the wall at the beach and it was being repaired. Otherwise it was great. There were not many children there so the activities did not happen although the staff was there. The beach is not very good and nobody uses it but the pools and grounds are lovely. Enjoy

Vellas in the marina has a great kids program...hidden between the 2 big pools that are conected by a pool/river there is a kids pool with staff and activities for children. Games, art and free hotdogs/hamburgers. staffed at all time during the day. Go and have FUN!
