Before you exit the airport and hop in that white taxi cab, (as mentioned above), go to a \"Taxi\" window just to the right of left of the exit door and purchase a ticket. You pay for it there (in peso or US) and then give it to your driver once you are in the cab.

Hi. I stayed at the Villa Del Palmar about 4 or 5 years ago and loved it! There were two pools, a great workout facility and poolside drink service. We had a room overlooking the back of the hotel and we could also see the river. We enjoyed our stay there and the staff was good to us. Our visit was in late August and there were some bad monsoon rains a few days; one day we walked in water up to our knees in the road in front of the hotel. We have been down in November also and the weather then is wonderful, warm and sunny with no rain. Have a great trip!
