Were going to Villa Del Palmar Feb 23 and I am wondering if anybody has been there recently? I would like to know the status of the beach and pool area as well as the limited supply of palapas. Anybody have any information?

Thats a bummer about the beach. Maybe they will add more palapas when they rebuild it. Always looking for the bright side. I understand the beaches north of the hotel are still pretty good so my wife an I may have to walk up there. Only problem is there wont be any waiters to bring my beer!
