 I stayed at the Villa del Palmar last Nov.. No complaints. Try and get a room on the inside over looking the pool and bar area. It was great to relax on the balcony over looking the pool and meet the other people doing the same. Also there is a great store across the street for groceries and more beer. The Gigante.

 I might be confused...is Villa Del Palmar on Los Muertos in Old town? If not, my error and ignore. If so, what are the streets that border the property.

 its located in the northern part of the hotel zone. on the main drag.

Al,
You are thinking of the Villa del Mar on Aquacate and Madero on the south side of the Rio Cuale. Villa del Palmar has a sister hotel next door called the Villa del Mar, so they get confused having two hotels by the same name in the same town.
