What would you like to know? I have been staying there for the last 10 years. I love this resort and was just there last month. I saw great improvement this year in regards to the front desk staff and their overall attitude in willing to help you sort out any problems you may have. The one thing I do not recommend is chosing the A-I option that is available. I have heard that they limit you to the how many and what types of drinks you are allowed with the A-I and the food is just pushing the average mark. Besides, with all the great
restaurants in PV who wants to eat at the resort. The resort itself has 3 pools, one out in front of the beach, one bigger one with a slide and where all the activites are, and then you can also use the one over at the Villa del Mar (sister resort to the VDP) which is quiet. There are all kinds of water sports right out on the beach, kayaking, windsurfing, jet skis, banana boat rides, sailing, and also parasailing. Also when we were there they had a water trampoline set up for you to use. The rooms in my opinion are quite nice for Mexican standards. You are close to everything, Gigante (grocery store) is about 2 blocks away, where you can pick up some items if you wish do some cooking in your room or make use of the BBQ one night for dinner, the marina is about 5 mins via taxi or 10-15 minutes by bus, downtown is 10 minutes via taxi or 20 minutes by bus. If there is any other info that you want just email me.
