Villas Del Mar and the NEW Crown Paradise

My husband and I stayed at the Villa Del Mar last year. It is the older side of the Villa Del Palmar. We had a one bedroom, all though it was not as nice as the condo we exchange, it was O.K. NO elevators.
You have to get up early if you want a pool chair, as people will reserve them and spend the day doing what ever and then come back to the chair later. It was rather funning sitting on our balcony watching them hussle out to put their towel on the chairs in the wee hours of the morning. It was also rude.
I would not do an AI, the food was not that great at either restaurants. But we did have a very relaxing time and we will always remember our time there.

We were there in February of last year, our building did NOT have an elevator. And the chairs were always taken. But again we had an awesome time there and we would stay there again.

del Palmar is on the beach. del Mar is not. It is a short walk from one resort to the other. Couple of minutes at the most. Sorry I forgot about the building over the Gym not having elevator access. The two main buildings do have one.
