Villas Loma Linda

I have a timeshare trade into Villas Loma Linda. Has anyone stayed here recently? Can you share your thought on the place. I needed an extra 3 or 4 nights and I was able to trade into this place.

I was able to get a 2bdrm/2bath for Jan09.

Which unit would be the better ones or the best one?

Thanks

Stayed a Loma Linda in December 2007 and rooms are decent but it is quite a hike to the beach. Always walked to beach and took a cab home. Next time I go to PV, will stay at place right on the ocean.

One of the older timeshares in PV. Best units are top floor penthouses. Same size as the lower ones but with sloping ceilings and better views. They are east of the highway and directly east of Playa del Sol on the beach. The walk home is up many steps if you are fit and sober. A taxi is 30p.

There were some complaints last year about the dump trucks going right by to the projects up Hortensia. I think what little traffic is left goes the other way now. (Hortensia - Pulpito - Jacarandas) I look out on the corner of Pulpito and Jacarandas.
beautiful view
we were at Linda Loma in 2005 for our first time ever in PV.The scenery is breathtaking , the condo itself is very old with old appliances and furniture. What I likes about it was the authincity, very spanish even the dishes..

We had a lower condo so we had a big problem with huge ants..all over even in the bedl

Be physically fit. lots and lots of stairs going uphill all the way from the beach , we counted over 500 stairs..

We were abit surprised with no tv no radio or clock radio.. For a transfer from a 5 star condo that we own this is about a 3 to 4 star ..

Smaller pool on the top overled by many balconys ,, the top condos looked much nicer and they had a hot tub on there balconys//

some of the balconys were not private at all. people would just walk buy you if you were sitting and eating at your patio..

overhaul loved the Loma linda

hola have a great time
