Looking at a package at Villas Vallarta, and as I understand with this you get access to resteraunt/bar/etc. at Canto del Sol, is this true? And is this much of a deal? Anyone stayed in either? Thanks.

We just got our tickets for Villas Vallarta (leaving on Feb. 3rd) with our tickets came a message from Sunquest that we are no longer able to use the restaurant/facilities of Canto Del Sol. We can however use the beach & palapas on the beach and we were told by Mercedes at Villas Vallarta that we can also use the Pool bar & snack bar by the pool (which is right on the beach).

We are leaving on Fri. {20} to stay at Villas Villarta so have been following this. They are starting on Feb.1 to offer full priviledges at Canto Del Sol again. You can see it on Sig. Vac. website under Villas. We have the paper from Mercedes to say we can use Canto Del Sol but no details on it. We have been advised by our travel agent to see rep. in hotel to try to get same privledges as those after Feb. 1. so that is our plan. Will be interesting.
